If Daniel O'Donnell is the brightly scrubbed face of British country music then Hank Wangford is its guilty conscience, its dark and troubled grubby soul. Hank has picked at the miserable underbelly of country music for twenty eight years, inspiring others like Billy Bragg, The The, The Alabama Three and other alternative country musicians.

Founded in Birmingham in 2000 award winning Swing Trio Fret & Fiddle draw inspiration from the small string bands of the 30's and 40's, and particularly from the most famous of all: the Quintette du Hot Club de France featuring Stephane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt. Their repertoire consists of songs that Grappelli played during his 75-year career - from Gypsy Jazz to the top hits of Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart, George Gershwin and Hoagy Carmichael and Grappelli's own songs.

Dury may no longer be with us but The Blockheads - who celebrated their 30th Anniversary in 2007 - remain one of the hardest working groups to have emerged from the decade that gave us some of the most exciting and original music since the birth of rock and roll.
Now with a fantastically well-received new album 'Staring Down The Barrel' (EMI) - The Blockheads have proved that there is life after Ian.

The guitar, bass and drums trio The Hamsters have long been established as a premier live attraction. Although primarily playing their own brand of Rock, Blues and Americana, they're also widely regarded as the UK's leading interpreters of the music of JIMI HENDRIX & ZZ TOP - and will no doubt be featuring hits from both at the Festival. A popular new feature of the show will be a few acoustic songs, following the band's appearance at the Acoustic Festival of Great Britain in May.

Denham Hendon Brass was formed by the amalgamation of Denham Brass and the John Laing Hendon Band in April 1998.
The band is currently graded as First Section in the National Brass Band Registry.
Denham Brass can trace its history back through the Hillingdon Band, who enjoyed considerable success under the baton of conductor and composer Philip Sparke. Philip still retains an interest in the Band with the role of Band President. The Band was formed as the Botwell Brotherhood Band and then Hayes and Harlington Silver Band. Following the London Borough changes it became Hillingdon.
